“ This morning we were so excited to stop in to experience Cadejo! Everything exceeded our expectations! We were greeted warmly and the shop was so inviting. Our group ordered a number of drinks as well as food offerings from Ancestro. The mole mocha was amazing, the vanilla lattes perfect, the chai latte was flavorful, and the cafe de olla was subtly sweet with citrus overtones. Our meals were delightful, the breakfast sandwich was presented on a brioche bun that gave it a spicy sweet profile that was fabulous. The chilaquiles were crisp with a perfectly cooked jammy egg with added tangy spicy chorizo, so filling and delicious. The beans on toast had a great blend of spice with the cheese and hearty bread as a base. We topped off our meal with besos de nuez cookies! They were divine! We so enjoyed our morning at Cadejo!! ”
“ Had an americano with a dash of the cafe the olla and was great. The space has lots of beautiful plants and great seating area. This weekend tried their pop up Ancestro and was great. Their chilaquiles with milanesa de pollo were great. ”
“ The Coffee is great. Very welcoming batista and great coffee. All of their menu food comes from pop-ups. So they have certain times they are there. I got the chilaquiles from Ancestro. They were very different spin with the sauce. It was like a spicy mole sauce. It was very good but I was craving the reg red sauce. ”
“ I met a friend here for coffee mainly because of the location, and neither of us had been here before. It was a bright, warm spot to take refuge from the rain! It's a cute coffee shop that's not too small but not too large. There's one medium-sized open space with lots of 2- and 4- seat tables around the edges along the walls and the windows, and one large communal table in the center. I just got a mocha with oat milk and a butter croissant. Both were wonderful. But then after we sat down I saw someone bringing out these plates of gorgeous food that smelled amazing. Definitely going to try one of the hot breakfast plates next time!! They looked so delicious. Service is nice (very kind people!), moves at a good pace, and the prices are reasonable. When we were there mid-morning on a weekday, the customers were a mix of business meetings, adults meeting up with friends, and some families. The noise level was manageable and it was easy to hold a conversation here without feeling like we were competing with the music or other people, as I feel like we do in some other coffee shops. Street parking isn't as difficult to find here usually. I found a parking spot right across the street and my friend found one just around the corner. Glad to have another coffee shop in PDX to add to my coffee chat spots! ”
“ What a cute place! So much space, such good vibes, really friendly barista, and oh so delicious drinks and food. Also, super clean inside :3 We went on a Monday afternoon and wanna come back later in the week to try their breakfast menu. I dont usually finish my latte's, but the balance on each one we got was so good, i did. Not too sweet, lots of good flavor, and no acidity (yay!) Can't wait to go back! ”
